Kaweco STUDENT - how it all started

With a small shop near the University of Heidelberg, Kaweco's success story began in 1883.

At that time, the popular writing utensils were mainly sold to young students. An inseparable connection between Kaweco and the high school students developed over the years.

Dedicated to this connection, the Kaweco Student series was created, which are available with silver elements in black and transparent as well as in the colour combinations with golden details, nostalgic colours and soft beige. With the premise of creating something that is still a beloved and faithful companion in everyday life even after years. Until he has found its owner in the end, we have a lot on our to-do list.

Kaweco writing instruments have been designed with sophistication and great attention to detail since 1883. They have always been manufactured in outstanding quality. Today, it can be found both in high quality standards, excellent workmanship, as well as in the individual inspection of each product.

The production takes place by hand and individual inspection in the pencil city of Nuremberg. We source high-quality materials from all over the world - such as the mechanics from Japan from PRECO/Iwasaki. In addition to high-quality individual parts, we also work with the smallest possible tolerances for a long writing happiness. In the end, each pen is personally customisable.
