Setup with an Ink Cartridge

You could find adaptable ink cartridges by searching "Jinhao Ink Cartridge" on Amazon.

How to use the ink cartridge correctly:

• Unistall the ink converter from the Pen → Install the ink cartridge to to pen firmly (So that the sealed platisc ball of the cartridge will be released.) → Standup the pen for 5-15 seconds → Assemble the pen barrel and pen cap.

Setup with an Ink Converter

Each Jinhao 9019 Fountain Pen is equipped with a 2.6mm upgraded Jinhao Ink converter (Installed in the pen barrel), fits for non-carbon bottle Ink.

Two ways to fill the ink with an Ink Converter:

• Uninstall the ink converter from the Pen → Dig the ink coverter into the bottle ink → Screw the end of converter to draw ink up → Clean and Install the ink converter back to the pen and standup the pen for 5-15 seconds.
• Uninstall the pen barrel → Dig the nib into the bottle ink → Screw the end of converter to draw the ink up → Clean and wipe the excess ink from the nib and assemble the pen body and pen cap.

Refill the Ink Converter / Ink Cartridge More Easily & Elegantly

By using a ink syringe with a blunt needle, you could refill the ink converter and the empty ink cartridge easily and elegantly, and no mess on the hand. You don't even need a tissue to clean the pen, and the ink syringe could be reused and environmental.

How to use the ink syringe to refill:

• Use a empty ink syringe to draw the ink from bottle ink → Insert the needle into the ink converter or empty cartridge → Control and slowly push the pump head to inject ink → Release the excess ink back into the bottle ink → Push back the protection cap for the ink syringe needle.
